GETRI and AEEE Join Forces to Boost Energy Efficiency in Gujarat

The Green Energy Transition Research Institute (GETRI) and the Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) have signed an agreement to advance energy-efficient measures across Gujarat. The collaboration aims to meet sustainable development goals and reduce emissions, focusing on policies, financing, and the promotion of energy-efficient appliances.

In a significant move toward sustainability, the Green Energy Transition Research Institute (GETRI) has joined hands with the Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) to promote energy-efficient practices in Gujarat.

The agreement, signed at a joint event in Vadodara with the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), aims to meet the state's sustainable development goals and reduce emission intensity.

The collaboration includes initiatives to strengthen energy efficiency policies, finance, and promote energy-efficient appliances. According to Satish Kumar, President and Executive Director of AEEE, these efforts aim to create a lasting impact on Gujarat's energy landscape for the benefit of the environment and economy.
