Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, along with the party's national general secretary Sandeep Pathak, conducted a review meeting in Chandigarh on Tuesday. The gathering included AAP MLAs, Lok Sabha MPs, and ministers from Punjab. AAP MP Malvinder Singh Kang stated the focus was on how the government and organization will function in the upcoming days, reviewing the status and implementation of the Chief Minister's schemes. CM Mann provided guidance on leveraging public feedback.
Kang emphasized the potential for continuous improvement, noting the primary focus was progress on scheme implementation. He mentioned that AAP MLAs will visit every village and household to inform residents about government schemes and gather feedback for enhancements. He also highlighted significant progress in employment opportunities and governance over the past two years.
The meeting also addressed recent incidents in Jalandhar and Ludhiana. Responding to Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari's letter, CM Mann explained that local police have arrested the accused in both cases. He detailed that one incident resulted from over-excavation by an NHAI contractor, and the other from the non-payment of financial dues by a contractor to a subcontractor, holding contractors accountable.
