Ukraine Denies Involvement in Nord Stream 2 Explosions; Points to Russia

Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak has unequivocally denied any involvement of Ukraine in the recent explosions that severely damaged the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. Instead, Podolyak pointed a finger at Russia, in a statement made to Reuters on Thursday.

'Such an act can only be carried out with extensive technical and financial resources,' Podolyak stated, adding, 'And who possessed all this at the time of the bombing? Only Russia.'

Podolyak's comments come amidst rising tensions and speculations regarding the responsible party behind the pipeline damages, as international scrutiny intensifies.
