Madhya Pradesh CM Celebrates Raksha Bandhan with Tribal Women, Inaugurates Development Projects
During 'Raksha Bandhan and Sawan Utsav,' Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in traditional celebrations with local women. He also inaugurated 38 development projects worth Rs 147.80 crores.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav engaged in local festivities during the 'Raksha Bandhan and Sawan Utsav' program in the district. Women tied rakhis and applied mehndi, while CM Yadav joined them in singing traditional Sawan songs. The women presented a large rakhi to him on stage.
CM Yadav also digitally inaugurated 38 development works valued at Rs 147.80 crores. He commemorated the birth anniversary of Rani Avanti Bai Lodhi by performing Bhoomi Pujan and announcing further projects. 'I am pleased to have received Rakhi from Ladli Behnas,' Yadav mentioned to reporters.
Highlighting the district's future plans, Yadav expressed optimism for the development of the tribal regions, including Baiga, Sahariya, and Gond communities. He extended greetings for Raksha Bandhan and Krishna Janmashtami. A woman named Shanti Bhai expressed her happiness at tying a rakhi to Yadav, who reciprocated with gratitude and a return gift.
