The central figure in Theog's commemoration is Suratram Prakash, the Prime Minister of Theog Princely State's first democratic government. Local historians recall how on August 14, 1947, ruler Rana Karm Chand ceded power to the people, leading to the formation of a council of ministers headed by Prakash.

Rajinder Prakash, son of Suratram Prakash, emphasized his father's role in the Prajamandal movement that fought for democratic rights in princely states. The cabinet's formation, featuring key figures like Lagan Dass and Nand Ram, is celebrated annually. Health Minister Dhaniram Shandil participated in the celebrations, promising efforts to include this history in school curricula.

Local artists and youth contributed to the event, with folk artist Rajnish Sharma performing the Chholtu dance. Youth representative Himanshu Kharpotala highlighted the importance of preserving Theog's unique heritage.
