HCL Technologies Appoints Shiv Walia as Chief Financial Officer
HCL Technologies has promoted Shiv Walia to Chief Financial Officer, effective September 6, 2024. Walia, who has been with the company since 1998, will replace Prateek Aggarwal. HCLTech CEO C Vijayakumar praised Walia's extensive contributions and experience within the company.

IT major HCL Technologies on Monday announced the promotion of Shiv Walia to the role of Chief Financial Officer, effective from September 6, 2024.
Walia, a seasoned finance leader, will take over from Prateek Aggarwal, who resigned to pursue other opportunities outside the company.
"Shiv Walia has been integral to our success over the last many years. As a seasoned finance leader, he has played key roles across our various geographies and businesses through multiple business cycles and has extensive knowledge of HCLTech’s businesses and clients," said C Vijayakumar, CEO & MD of HCLTech.
Walia joined HCL in 1993 and HCLTech in 1998, serving in various finance leadership positions. He currently holds the title of Corporate Vice President & Global Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Finance Operations.
Shares of HCLTech closed at Rs 1,678.15 apiece on the BSE on Monday.
