European shares remained steady on Tuesday, with investors cautious ahead of crucial euro zone economic data releases.
The pan-European STOXX 600 index stayed at 514.87 points as of 0710 GMT, maintaining its position after reaching a three-week high in the previous session. Energy stocks were the biggest losers, down nearly 1% due to declining global oil prices driven by reduced geopolitical risks and weak Chinese demand.

German producer prices dropped 0.8% year-on-year in July, matching forecasts, which helped the German DAX inch up by 0.2%. In other stock movements, Danish lender Jyske Bank saw a 2.1% rise after announcing strong first-half results.
