Two bike-borne assailants opened fire at a sweets shop in Delhi's Tilak Nagar area late Friday night, police reported on Saturday. The attack occurred around 11:15 pm when unknown perpetrators targeted Singla's Sweets, hitting the shop's front glass with bullets.

Upon receiving information, the crime team and district operations unit promptly arrived at the scene. Delhi Police confirmed that an FIR has been lodged under relevant legal provisions, and an investigation is currently in progress.

Preliminary findings suggest that the attackers, after firing multiple shots, fled the scene on the same bike they arrived on. Four empty cartridges were discovered at the site. Fortunately, no individuals were injured. Efforts to gather information and track the assailants' route are ongoing, with multiple teams dedicated to the task.

Further details are awaited, according to ANI.
