Mastercard and Aquapay announced their collaboration to launch Mastercard In Control for Business Travel in India. This innovative solution allows travel management companies to issue virtual cards for central travel accounts, enhancing the business travel payment ecosystem.
According to Mastercard's Senior Vice President, Ravi Datla, virtual cards significantly contribute to creating a more efficient, secure, and user-friendly payment landscape in India, which ranks as one of the largest markets for business travel spending.
Nitin Chavan, CEO of Aquapay, highlighted that this groundbreaking travel solution will provide medium and small travel management companies with advanced financial services, driving efficiency and process improvements for their corporate clients. Ultimately, the solution will streamline business travel payments across India, benefiting the entire travel ecosystem.
