Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Union Minister Bhupender Yadav on Saturday joined the International Clean Air Day event held at Jaipur International Convention Centre (JECC). Addressing the gathering, CM Sharma stressed, "Air pollution is a global issue affecting human health. We all share the responsibility of curbing pollution."

Highlighting individual responsibility, CM Sharma said, "Before contributing to pollution, consider its effects. Think about the pollution caused by the number of cars you own. Do we compensate by planting trees? Mother Earth provides for us; we must give back." He also shared that Rajasthan has planted 7 crore saplings inspired by a national campaign.

Sharma mentioned that the state has initiated a clean air campaign in 131 cities and launched 46 Continuous Air Quality Monitoring Systems. The world observed International Day of Clean Air emphasizing the need for investment in clean air solutions as over 99% of humanity breathes polluted air, leading to severe health impacts.
