Tragedy Strikes Farmers in Maharashtra: Four Dead by Electric Shock

A tragic incident unfolded in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur district, claiming the lives of four farmers who were electrocuted while setting an electric fence.

The incident took place in the morning near Ganeshpur village and involved seven men who were working on the field. They first applied pesticides to the crops and then proceeded to erect the electric fence.

The victims, aged between 40 and 60, were identified as Pundlik Mankar, Prakash Raut, Yuvraj Dongre, and Nanaji Raut. Another worker, Sachin Nannaware, sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical care. Authorities have initiated an inquiry, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
