Senvion India Secures Major Wind Turbine Order from Continuum Green Energy

Senvion India announced securing an order to supply 50 wind turbine generators totaling 210 MW from Continuum Green Energy. The project, planned for Gujarat or Karnataka, will start deliveries in April 2026. The deal includes an option for up to 50 additional units, featuring advanced 4.2M160 turbines.

Senvion India announced on Thursday that it has secured an order to supply 50 wind turbine generators (WTGs) with a combined capacity of 210 MW from Continuum Green Energy.

The project is slated for deployment in either Gujarat or Karnataka and will commence deliveries in April 2026, according to a statement.

The agreement also includes provisions for increasing the number of turbines by up to 50 additional units. The project will employ Senvion's cutting-edge 4.2M160 turbines, which feature advanced technologies designed to enhance control and optimization, significantly extending the turbine's lifespan and reducing operational costs.

“With over 85 percent localization in our turbines, we are committed to contributing to the growth of renewable energy in India and creating local jobs,” said Amit Kansal, CEO and Managing Director of Senvion India.

Jamal Wadi, Chairman of Senvion India, stated that the 4.2M160 turbine is expected to significantly improve the efficiency and performance of Continuum's wind energy projects.
