In a rally in poll-bound Haryana on Monday, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami extolled the exponential growth seen under BJP rule and urged the public to vote for the party. Dhami's campaign was in support of BJP candidate Ram Kumar Gautam.
Dhami praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, stating that development in Haryana has been remarkable over the past decade. He cited improvements in infrastructure, health, and education, mentioning the construction of 40 new national highways and expanded medical facilities. Social welfare initiatives like Ayushman cards and free gas connections were also highlighted.
Criticizing Congress, Dhami accused the party of corruption and nepotism. He alleged that Congress candidates would prioritize jobs for their families and engage in corrupt practices if elected. Dhami emphasized BJP’s commitment to transparency and reform in administrative systems. Chief Minister Nayab Saini dismissed reports of BJP infighting and expressed confidence in winning a third consecutive term.
The Haryana Legislative Assembly elections are scheduled for October 5, with results to be announced on October 8.
