In a significant move towards enhancing India's human resources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 'Karmayogi Saptah'—National Learning Week—at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. During his address, he underscored the mission's aim to create a workforce that will propel national development.
Expressing contentment with the progress achieved, Modi noted that sustained passion and innovation in work systems could help realize the objective of a developed India, or 'Viksit Bharat,' by 2047. He highlighted that new insights from the learning week would enhance operational efficiencies across government sectors.
Emphasizing the dual role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Aspirational India, Modi articulated that leveraging AI appropriately could bring about transformative changes. As civil servants adapt to digital advancements, necessitating Mission Karmayogi's support, partnerships and learning from global practices were encouraged to foster a unified government approach.
