NLC India Enters Pacts for Clean Energy Ventures in Rajasthan

NLC India Ltd has announced its collaboration with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd to establish two joint ventures focusing on power capacity expansion. The ventures include renewable energy projects and a lignite-based thermal power station in Rajasthan.
Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, NLC India aims to ensure energy security and sustainable generation, aligning with its aggressive capacity growth strategy. The joint ventures signify a critical move towards sustainable power generation in the country.
NLC India plans an Initial Public Offering for its subsidiary, NLC India Renewables Ltd, by the next financial year to fund these clean energy initiatives, aiming to increase its renewable capacity from 1.4 GW to 6 GW by 2030.
