Erdogan doesn't agree with US demands of Kurdish assurances: Official

Turkey has denied promising the United States it would protect Syrian Kurdish militia forces in Syria, a presidential spokesman said Tuesday as Washington prepares for a troop pullout. "Nobody should expect Turkey to provide assurances to a terror organisation," President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's spokesman Ibrahim Kalin told journalists in Ankara after a meeting with White House National Security adviser John Bolton.
