National Fertilizers Ltd reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 12.07 crore for the September 2024 quarter, recovering from a net loss of Rs 87.10 crore the previous year. However, total income declined to Rs 4,404.40 crore compared to Rs 5,691.20 crore in the same period last year.

National Fertilizers Ltd, a major player in the country's fertilizer industry, reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 12.07 crore for the September 2024 quarter, marking a significant recovery from a net loss of Rs 87.10 crore in the same quarter last year.
Despite this positive financial turnaround, NFL's total income experienced a notable decline, falling to Rs 4,404.40 crore from Rs 5,691.20 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year, as disclosed in a recent regulatory filing.
The state-owned company operates five major gas-based ammonia-urea plants located in Punjab, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh, underscoring its leading position in the fertilizer sector.
