In a joint operation, the Indian Army, alongside the Jammu and Kashmir Police, successfully unearthed a cache of weapons and ammunition in the Kupwara district's Bandi Mohalla. The discovery has drawn attention to ongoing security operations in the region.

The operation, which kicked off last Friday, was initiated by specific intelligence reports suggesting concealed armaments. The army's social media account confirmed the find, stating, "On 14 Feb 2025, based on specific intelligence inputs, a Joint Search Operation was launched by #IndianArmy and @JmuKmrPolicein general area Bandi Mohalla, Channipura Pain, Kupwara."
