On Tuesday, the Patna Police detained four individuals related to a shooting incident in the Kankarbagh area around 2 PM. While four rounds were fired, no injuries were reported among the civilians present. Law enforcement officials are pursuing additional suspects who remain on the run, including a person named Dharmendra.

Patna Senior Superintendent of Police Awakash Kumar assured the public that the situation is under control, stating, "Four rounds of firing were conducted... Four individuals have been detained and are now in custody... All civilians within the building are safe... We are actively searching for the fugitives... Extensive raids are underway to track down the remaining accused."

The altercation caused significant tension in Patna's Kankarbagh area as criminals entrenched themselves in a nearby building. The Special Task Force (STF) and local police cordoned off the area, urging the suspects to surrender. High-ranking officials, including the Patna SSP, were present, overseeing a comprehensive search operation to ensure community safety.

Simultaneously, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav launched an attack on Bihar's state government, accusing it of failing to curb the escalating violence. Yadav alleged that over 200 rounds of bullets are discharged daily in Bihar, with kidnappings rampant in Patna. He criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for ignoring public distress and being disconnected from local issues. "Crime is increasing daily... The Chief Minister simply follows what officials tell him," Yadav stated, amidst a surge of violent incidents affecting the region.
