Tragedy at Jallikattu: Bull Tamer Killed in Fatal Incident

A Pandi, 23, an experienced bull tamer from Alanganallur, was fatally gored by a bull during a Jallikattu event. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have commenced an investigation into the incident.

In a tragic turn of events at the Jallikattu event held at Kalaignar Stadium in Keelakkarai, near Alanganallur, 23-year-old seasoned bull tamer A Pandi lost his life. The incident occurred as he faced off with the third bull of the day, resulting in severe injuries.

According to law enforcement, Pandi had a history of participating in numerous Jallikattu festivals. Despite his experience, he was gored in the stomach and sustained critical head injuries during the encounter.

He was immediately transported to the government-run Rajaji Hospital for emergency treatment. Unfortunately, he did not survive. The Alanganallur police have formally registered the case and launched a detailed investigation into the fatal incident.
