Vilnius airport closed, NATO jets scrambled due to suspected drone

​Vilnius ‌airport in ​Lithuania was closed and ‌NATO Baltic Air Policing jets were ‌scrambled on Saturday after ‌a suspected drone was reported to ⁠be ​flying ⁠into Lithuania from Belarus, the ⁠country's National Crisis ​Management Centre said.

Authorities advised ⁠residents in the Vilnius ⁠region ​to be prepared to seek ⁠shelter if necessary, ⁠it ⁠said.
