Harnessing AI for Agricultural Revolution in Rural India

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar emphasized the role of disruptive technologies like AI in transforming agriculture and rural areas. Speaking at the AARDO Conference, he highlighted the importance of technology in alleviating suffering, reducing corruption, and empowering rural populations, especially through initiatives like Digital India.

During the 21st General Session of the African Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO) Conference, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar advocated for the use of disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence to revolutionize agriculture.

Highlighting the untapped potential in rural regions, Dhankhar pointed out that these areas are home to billions, including 894 million rural Indians, indicating immense opportunities and responsibilities.

Dhankhar urged leveraging these technologies to benefit the farm sector and rural communities, emphasizing initiatives like Digital India while acknowledging the critical role of women in governance.
