Finance Commission Urged for Special Consideration in Mizoram Fund Allocation

Chairman Arvind Panagariya and his team are on a four-day visit, discussing these issues with Chief Minister Lalduhoma. They are focusing on financial allocations and development priorities for the next five years, starting from the 2025-26 fiscal.

Lalduhoma emphasized the state's financial struggles despite high literacy rates and its reliance on continued support for sustainable development, including proposals for skill development, bamboo resource utilization, and new nursing schools.
