Madhya Pradesh Ushers in Vikramotsav 2025 with Cultural Renaissance

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, alongside Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, launched Vikramotsav 2025 and the Vikram Trade Fair in Ujjain, celebrating Mahashivratri. The event aims to revive Emperor Vikramaditya's legacy through cultural programs, while boosting Ujjain's status as a vibrant center for tourism, culture, and trade.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, accompanied by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, officially inaugurated Vikramotsav 2025 and the Vikram Trade Fair in Ujjain on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri. The event aims to resurrect the rich history of Emperor Vikramaditya through a cultural renaissance in India.

Chief Minister Yadav emphasized the cultural revival under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and extended greetings to the state's citizens during the celebrations. The festival, running until June 30, includes various programs showcasing India's cultural, traditional, artistic, and economic dimensions. Yadav also unveiled plans for Simhastha 2028.

An official release stated that Vikramotsav 2025 commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, alongside the Vikram Vyapar Mela's inauguration. The festivities also include Textile Industry and Handloom Exhibitions, and celebrate tribal art, cuisine, and traditional medicine, solidifying Ujjain's place as a business and tourism hub.

CM Yadav highlighted the state securing over Rs 30 lakh crore in investments during the 'Invest MP Global Investors Summit,' with Ujjain poised to benefit from many proposals. At the trade fair inauguration, Yadav distributed car keys to attendees and expressed his best wishes.
