Datta Power Infra announced on Friday that a group company has signed a Power Purchase Agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to supply electricity from a 50-MW wind energy project.

This project is part of SECI's Tranche-XVII initiative, which aims to establish 500 MW of wind power projects connected to the interstate transmission system across India. The agreement underscores Datta Power Infra's commitment to scalable and sustainable energy solutions.

Varchasvi Gagal, CEO & MD of Datta Power Infra, stated that the PPA marks a significant milestone in supporting national renewable energy goals and contributing to a sustainable future. The project will aid in achieving India's target of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030.
