In a significant development for India's defence sector, Alpha Tocol Engineering Services has delivered the first rear fuselage for the Light Combat Aircraft Mk1A to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). According to a statement from the Defence Ministry, the handover took place at HAL's Aircraft Division, attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

Speaking at the ceremony, Singh highlighted the milestone as a testament to India's progress in achieving self-reliance in defence manufacturing, aided by public-private partnerships. He lauded HAL and the private sector for their continued efforts to enhance the capabilities of the Armed Forces with cutting-edge technology.

HAL, through collaborations with private firms like Alpha Tocol, is not only fortifying military strength but also expanding manufacturing and R&D dimensions. Enhanced production of LCA Mk1A components ensures HAL can meet future demands, solidifying India's defence prowess—a sentiment echoed by Singh.
