In a significant development, the First Class Judicial Magistrate Court on Monday extended the custody of two individuals implicated in the Pune luxury car obscenity case. Gaurav Ahuja received an additional day in police custody, while his co-accused, Bhagyesh Oswal, was remanded to judicial custody for 14 days.

During the proceedings, the police disclosed that they had recovered the BMW implicated in the incident, driven by Ahuja, and that it has been subjected to forensic analysis. The court was informed that the car's number plate was visibly damaged, prompting the addition of a charge under Section 238 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) to the existing FIR.

Authorities argued for further custody to extract additional information and piece together the chain of events leading to the alleged offense. Police officials have revisited the scene of the incident, where Ahuja was reportedly filmed committing an obscene act, capturing public attention and outrage through online platforms.
