A delegation from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), spearheaded by Union Minister and West Bengal BJP President Sukanta Majumdar, convened with the Election Commission in New Delhi to lodge a formal complaint concerning purported voter roll discrepancies in West Bengal.
BJP's West Bengal Co-incharge, Amit Malviya, articulated that the party pressed for an exhaustive audit and revision of the voter rolls, pointing to an alarming number of duplicate entries and illegal voter registration in the state.
