The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) inaugurated its 57th annual conference at Bodofa Fwthar, Dotma, Kokrajhar, drawing attention to vital cultural and educational topics. Held from March 13 to 16, 2025, the conference has gathered policymakers, educators, and cultural figures to deliberate on student empowerment, leadership, and preserving cultural heritage.

Assam's Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma revealed that Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend on the final day. The conference's inauguration saw Jiron Basumatary, MLA, formally opening the event, followed by various cultural events and the unveiling of the Bodofa Upendra Nath Brahma Memorial Stage by Assam Cabinet Minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma.

High-profile individuals participated in opening key facilities, including a memorial guest house and exhibition. The conference also launched health and sports facilities, aiming to boost community wellness and engagement in traditional games. The first day concluded with cultural performances that celebrated Bodo traditions.
