Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Maa Vindhyavasini Devi Temple in Mirzapur on Wednesday, offering prayers and highlighting the temple's developmental impact. The Chief Minister's visit comes amid assertions that faith is integral to economic growth—a theme underscored in his subsequent public address at an exhibition celebrating his government's achievements over the past eight years.
Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi spoke about the successful development of the religious corridor of Maa Vindhyavasini, which has attracted large numbers of visitors and spurred regional progress. He noted that faith could be a driving force for economic development, citing how the Maha Kumbh played a similar role. Expressing gratitude, he acknowledged the lakhs of tourists who visit the temple with reverence.
The Chief Minister also emphasized the significance of the Ganga Expressway, describing it as the country's largest expressway, poised to enhance connectivity between key religious sites such as Maa Vindhyavasini Dham and Baba Vishwanath Dham. By planning to link this expressway with the Purvanchal Expressway, Yogi seeks to bolster infrastructure, aiding economic development.
Yogi highlighted further strides in infrastructure with the construction of a medical college in Mirzapur and the development of multiple projects under his leadership. He encouraged continued support for good governance, linking it to the state's overall development. An exhibition detailing his government's accomplishments over the past eight years saw the attendance of Union Minister of State Anupriya Patel, lending weight to the event. (ANI)
