In a heartwarming story, the Swarna Bharat Trust, supported by former Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, successfully reunited a long-missing young man with his family after 14 years. Neeraj, originally from Baragaon, Uttar Pradesh, wandered away from his family in Mumbai at the age of eight.
The Nellore-based NGO, led by Managing Trustee Deepa Venkat, took Neeraj under their care and facilitated his education and skill development. Through persistent efforts, including visits to East Malad, Mumbai, SBT eventually located Neeraj's family with the help of locals.
Joy enveloped the Kannaujia family as Neeraj was welcomed back home, completing a journey from Mumbai to Baragaon. The emotional reunion prompted an invitation for Venkat, who joined in the celebrations to mark Neeraj's return, underscoring the impact of SBT's commitment to rebuilding lives.
