Operation Sindoor: A Strategic Response to Terror

BJP leader N Ramchander Rao criticized Pakistan's shelling along the LoC as a breach of ceasefire, following India's Operation Sindoor strike on terror camps. In a scathing critique, BJP leader N Ramchander Rao condemned Pakistan for shelling along the Line of Control, describing it as a reprehensible assault on civilians and a blatant ceasefire violation. This comes on the heels of India's 'Operation Sindoor,' a targeted missile strike campaign conducted early Wednesday against nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

Speaking to the media, Rao lauded the operation as a significant achievement not only recognized within India but globally, with the exception of one dissenting nation. He emphasized the imperative of defending against state-supported terrorism from neighboring countries.

The operation targeted terror infrastructures linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, marking a significant anti-terrorist move. Nonetheless, Pakistan's retaliatory shelling along the LoC has killed 15 civilians and injured 43 in places like Rajouri and Poonch, leading to a dire situation for residents. Amid these tensions, the Indian Army responded proportionately to Pakistan's cross-border firing, continuing to monitor the situation closely in Jammu and Kashmir.
