The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai announced a new specialized program Thursday aimed at enhancing the audit capabilities in the oil and gas logistics sector. This week-long initiative is a collaborative effort with the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India.
Senior auditors from the government and experts in the academic and industry spheres are slated to participate. Their main goal: to deepen their understanding of logistics performance and strategic auditing in India's crucial oil and gas sectors, according to a statement from the institute.
This program is set to align auditing practices with emerging challenges, looking at supply chain efficiency and international trade, reflecting the evolving landscape of logistics auditing.
