Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor critiqued the long-standing governance of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and current Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during a campaign event in Gopalganj, Bihar. He emphasized the public's yearning for liberation from decades of mismanagement, seeking better education, employment, and an end to corruption.

Kishor noted the concern among political adversaries following Jan Suraj's emergence, which offers Biharis an alternative at the ballot box. He remarked on the noticeable turnout at rallies and expressed confidence in imminent change, citing disillusionment with Prime Minister Modi's unmet commitments, particularly the establishment of factories outside Bihar.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav criticized PM Narendra Modi's scheduled visit to Bihar, accusing him of perpetuating divisive politics and failing to fulfill promises. As Modi plans to address the public in Siwan to discuss 'Viksit Bihar,' Kishor urges citizens to question the BJP's intentions amid upcoming state elections.
