Dudhwa Tiger Reserve in Uttar Pradesh served as the venue for a pivotal workshop chaired by Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Bhupender Yadav. The gathering included Members of Parliament, Uttar Pradesh government officials, and experts, aiming to address human-wildlife conflict.

The Ministry highlighted issues unique to regions like Uttar Pradesh, and shared strategies the Indian government and local authorities are employing, such as AI technology and forming a Centre for Excellence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for harmonious solutions was emphasized as a cornerstone of these efforts.

During his visit, Minister Yadav engaged with the Tharu community, appreciating their handicraft initiatives and their role in women's empowerment. Additionally, his interaction with conservation officers at Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary and activities with the Special Tiger Protection Force underscored the multifaceted approach to wildlife conservation.
