The event, held at the BJP Tripura Party office, saw Saha commemorating 'Balidan Diwas' by honoring Mookerjee. Simultaneously, in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and state BJP President VD Sharma also paid floral tribute to the Jana Sangh founder. Yadav highlighted Mookerjee's crucial contributions during the formation of the Indian Constitution and the removal of Article 370, emphasizing the need to uphold his legacy.
VD Sharma reflected on Mookerjee's dedication to revoking Article 370, noting the sacrifices made by him, including imprisonment. Emphasizing the formation of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh due to Mookerjee's efforts, Sharma celebrated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's revocation of Article 370 as a fulfillment of Mookerjee's vision. The anniversary serves as a call for BJP members to follow Mookerjee's path and sacrifices.
