SJVN Green Energy Powers Bikaner with Solar Energy Milestone
SJVN Green Energy Ltd has started delivering an additional 100.02 MW of electricity from its large-scale solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. With this development, the project has now reached a commercial operation capacity of 501.02 MW, with plans to commission the remaining capacity soon.

SJVN Green Energy Ltd (SGEL) has marked a significant advancement by initiating the commercial supply of 100.02 MW of electricity from its massive 1,000 MW solar power project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, as of Monday.
According to an exchange filing released by SJVN on Monday, the project has successfully reached a commercial operation date (COD) with 501.02 MW now delivering power commercially out of the total planned 1,000 MW capacity.
SJVN Green Energy Limited, a fully-owned subsidiary, confirmed that it achieved commercial operation of a 100.25 MW segment of the Bikaner Solar Power Project as of June 30, 2025. Plans for commissioning the remaining capacity are underway, indicating continued expansion in solar energy production.
