In the Lok Sabha, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju made a plea to the opposition for a smooth debate on Operation Sindoor, amidst political tension regarding the Pahalgam terror attack and the counteractions following it. Rijiju notably urged the opposition not to disrupt the discussion.
Amidst frequent interruptions, the BJP-led government criticized the opposition, especially the Congress, for avoiding a dialogue on Operation Sindoor's success.
