NTPC Strengthens Green Energy Collaboration with Gujarat

In a significant move to bolster green energy alliances, the Chairman and Managing Director of the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), Gurdeep Singh, met with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar on Wednesday. This meeting underscored mutual interests in enhancing renewable energy, green hydrogen, nuclear projects, and pumped storage solutions in the state, aligning with India's green energy drive steered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Accompanying Singh were Sarit Maheshwari, CEO of NTPC Green Energy Limited, and other senior officials, signaling NTPC's commitment to a sustainable future. This visit comes in the wake of Gujarat's substantial investments in clean energy infrastructure, which remains pivotal to the state's growth strategy.

Concurrently, the Pharma and Labtech Expo-2025 commenced in Gandhinagar, offering a comprehensive platform for small and medium-scale manufacturers. Marking its 20th iteration, the event also incorporates the Contract Manufacturing Expo and the Raw and Packaging Material Expo, focusing on elevating the pharmaceutical sector's capabilities through advanced machinery, packaging innovations, and laboratory technologies. This initiative highlights the synergies within the pharmaceutical and machinery industries, promising significant benefits for stakeholders.
