The accused, Rajesh Khimji, is under a five-day police remand. Malhotra confirmed Gupta's well-being, promising her swift return to official duties.

Gupta's resilience was a focal point for BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj. She assured Delhi residents of the CM's high morale and unwavering routine, attributing the attack to her bravery. Viacommanderlized MPs emphasized the attack has not shaken her commitment to public engagement.
