In the September quarter, Jio-BP, a joint venture between Reliance Industries and BP, recorded a significant 34% rise in petrol and diesel sales. This spike is largely due to the company's proactive expansion of its retail network.
Jio-BP sold 1.8 million kilolitres of petrol and diesel between July and September, marking a 34% increase from the previous year, as revealed in an investor presentation post-second quarter earnings. The robust margins further supported these results.
Reliance BP Mobility Ltd continues to prioritize innovative offerings, such as high-performance 'Active Technology' fuels, alongside traditional fuels. The venture is also focusing on clean fuels with over 6,431 EV charging points and a 70% growth in CNG and CBG stations.
