Adani Solar has reached a significant milestone by shipping over 15,000 megawatts (MW) of solar modules across domestic and international markets, becoming the first and fastest Indian manufacturer to accomplish this feat.
A substantial 10,000 MW of these shipments were installed within India while 5,000 MW were exported globally, equating to 28 million modules that could cover almost 7,500 football fields, according to company officials.
Approximately 70% of the modules were produced using Adani's India-made solar cells, emphasizing the company's commitment to supporting the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.
