Challenges were aplenty in the past, with irrigation being a pressing concern due to limited water access. The tide turned when the Department of Agriculture facilitated the installation of a borewell for Raj under a government scheme, ensuring a reliable water source for year-round farming of seasonal vegetables.

Raj also highlights the significance of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, which provides him with ₹6,000 annually. This financial support has been crucial for managing agricultural inputs.
