A dramatic rescue was caught on camera when a car, driven by 25-year-old Shubham Tiwari, sank into a pond near Kanshiram Baraat Ghar. Tiwari lost control of the vehicle, which quickly submerged in the water, trapping him inside for over 15 minutes before he lost consciousness.

The dire situation took a turn when a local fisherman, Shabbir from Chidiya Dah village, bravely approached and intervened. Despite capsizing his boat in the process, he managed to break the car window and hold onto the unconscious driver. His actions prompted Dinesh Kushwaha, a passerby, to jump in and aid in pulling Tiwari to safety.

Thanks to their combined efforts, Tiwari received immediate CPR and was transported to a hospital promptly. Authorities, including the Pilibhit City Magistrate Vijayvardhan Tomar, have praised Shabbir and Dinesh for their commendable courage, promising official recognition for their heroic deed.
