A startling case has emerged in Indore, where court judgments were allegedly fabricated to assist Santosh Verma, an IAS officer, in securing an acquittal and promotion. Public prosecutor Abhijeet Singh Rathore has spotlighted potential collusion between Verma and Judge Vijendra Singh Rawat to produce false judgments in Verma's favor.

Rathore explained that Verma, previously charged in a case filed by his wife, required favorable rulings to gain promotion within the Indian Administrative Service. The High Court authorized the arrest of Judge Rawat following an investigation that unearthed damning evidence, resulting in his suspension and later obtaining anticipatory bail.

The scandal escalated when Verma's wife and Judge Rawat filed their respective complaints. Moreover, Verma's controversial remarks at a public event have led to further criticism and calls for an investigation, questioning his integrity and eligibility for the IAS promotion.
