Jharkhand Tables Rs 7,721.25 Crore Supplementary Budget for 2025-26
The Jharkhand government presented a supplementary budget of Rs 7,721.25 crore for the fiscal year 2025-26. Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore tabled the budget, with a debate scheduled for December 9. Previously, a Rs 4,296.62 crore supplementary budget was passed. This comes after the Rs 1.45 lakh crore annual budget was introduced in March.

In a significant financial move, the Jharkhand government has tabled a supplementary budget amounting to Rs 7,721.25 crore for the current fiscal year 2025-26. The announcement was made in the state assembly on Monday by Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore.
Notably, this is the second supplementary budget for the year, following a Rs 4,296.62 crore budget approved in August. The upcoming assembly session will see a debate on these budgetary demands on December 9, adding to the fiscal deliberations of the state.
The financial year 2025-26's substantial budgetary plans were initiated with an annual budget of Rs 1.45 lakh crore. The winter session of the assembly, commencing on Friday, will run until December 11, with significant budget discussions scheduled.
