Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended festive greetings on Wednesday to mark the celebration of Magh Bihu and Uttarayan. In two different posts on the social media platform X, PM Modi conveyed his wishes to the citizens on these significant occasions.
In his Uttarayan message, PM Modi wrote, "Wishing everyone a happy Uttarayan!" He expressed his hopes for happiness, good health, and well-being for all. His post underscored the festival's essence, wishing that it fosters togetherness and spreads prosperity and positivity across the nation.
Similarly, in a post marking Magh Bihu, he expressed hope that gratitude and harmony guide everyone. "Happy Magh Bihu to everyone!" the Prime Minister added, highlighting that the festival celebrates abundance, joy, and community spirit. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma acknowledged PM Modi's gestures, expressing anticipation for the Prime Minister's upcoming visit to Assam on the 17th. This occasion marks the conclusion of the harvest season in Assam, celebrated with communal feasts and festivities.
