NTPC Renewable Energy Powers Up Bhadla Solar Project

NTPC Renewable Energy, the subsidiary of state-run NTPC Ltd, has launched the commercial supply of 300 MW of electricity from its ambitious Bhadla solar project located in Rajasthan, starting January 13. This marks a significant milestone towards expanding the company's renewable energy portfolio.

The initial capacity, part of a larger 500 MW solar endeavor, aligns with NTPC's green energy strategy. With this addition, NTPC's total installed capacity reaches 87,287 MW, and the commercial capacity now stands at 86,207 MW, as per recent regulatory updates.

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, through subsidiary NGEL, expects the entire Bhadla Solar PV Project to be fully operational by January 13, 2026, further enhancing NTPC's contribution to sustainable energy solutions in India.
