In a spectacular display of devotion and tradition, throngs of pilgrims descended on Prayagraj's Magh Mela Kshetra to partake in the sacred ritual of taking a holy dip at the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati rivers. The occasion of Mauni Amavasya drew admirers from across the nation, creating a spiritual gathering of immense proportions.
Ravi Shukla, among countless who journeyed to the site, praised the city's meticulous arrangements, noting the seamless experience he encountered. Echoing this sentiment, Aadarsh Shukla highlighted the commendable efforts of local authorities in managing the colossal influx, turning a potentially chaotic gathering into a harmonious affair.
According to Prayagraj Divisional Commissioner Soumya Agarwal, over three crore devotees had already taken the sacred plunge by the afternoon, despite a dense fog blanketing the region overnight. Flower petals, showered from helicopters, added a celestial touch to the festivities. District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma assured that the event was progressing smoothly, with comprehensive security ensuring the well-being of all attendees.
