At a commemorative event marking the death anniversary of Maharana Pratap, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was hailed for his dedication and service to the people of Bihar, drawing comparisons to the Rajput legend. The event was organized by Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Jha, who equated the Chief Minister's ethos to that of Maharana Pratap, labeling him as 'the servant of Bihar.'

Echoing this sentiment, Minister Ashok Choudhary underscored the Chief Minister's commitment, likening his relentless efforts to Maharana Pratap's historic struggle for society. The Minister also noted the significance of annually remembering such figures to propagate their messages of social harmony, which continue to resonate in today's society.

The celebration, organized by the party's Vice President Sanjay Singh, serves as an annual reminder of Maharana Pratap's contributions to social cohesion, enhancing goodwill across communities. Born in 1540, Maharana Pratap is remembered for his valor in the 1576 battle of Haldighati, an emblem of resistance against imperial domination.
